Rickie E. Watford

Rickie E. Watford, age 69 died Tuesday, February 1, 2022. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 6th in the Lamar Chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Born on June 16, 1952, Rickie was the son of the late Willard Watford and Mamie Knotts Watford. He was employed at Sonoco Products Company for 22 years. He enjoyed raising chickens and riding on his tractor.

Surviving are his wife, Judith "Dale" E. Cook Watford; son, Dennis (Kathryn) Watford of Florence; daughters, Angie Lynch and Chasity (Casey) Miller, both of Lamar; step-children, Christel Coker and Tabitha (John Pigate) Knotts; grandchildren, Cody Holloman, Zachary Holloman, Rheannon Lynch, Walter "Walt" Coker, Tyler Pigate, Taylor Pigate; and a great-grandchild, Easton Miller.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annette G. Watford; granddaughter, Carley Holloman; sister, Patsy Sellars; and step-mother, Elma Watford.
