Ray Kenneth Larymore, Sr., went home to his Lord & Savior and into the arms of his wife Jean on Monday, February 23, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. A graveside service will be held for him on Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at 1:00pm at Indian Branch Cemetery served by Belk Funeral Home.

Ray was born in Darlington on January 28th, 1949, to Letha Howell Larymore and the late William Jennings Larymore, Sr. He was always known to lend a hand or help whenever anyone needed it. He had a big heart and would give away anything he had to help another person.

He leaves behind his mother Letha, his daughter Teresa (Jesse) Braddock, grandchildren; Kensley Braddock, Luke Braddock, and Deavon Larymore. Also, his siblings: Cynthia (Curtis) Cox, Wayne (Aimee) Larymore, and Heyward Larymore.

Preceding him in death is the love of his life his wife Jean Larymore of 60 years. His son Kenny Larymore, grandson Dylan Larymore, his father William, brothers; Gordon Wayne Larymore, William Larymore, and Danny Larymore.

Ray was a strong loving father, husband, and friend and will be missed dearly by those who knew him.
