Phillip Windham

Phillip Windham, age 53, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm Sunday, August 6th in the Lamar chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Newman Swamp Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday at the funeral home in Lamar. Born June 8, 1964, Phillip is the son of the late James K. Windham and Fannie Fields Windham. He was a graduate of Lamar High School. Phillip worked hard to provide for his family by farming and raising cattle and horses. He was a member of Oates Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Christy Lynn Wright Windham of Lamar; his daughters, Alexis Windham, Haley Windham, Jacalyn Windham, Katelyn Windham, all of the home, Brooke Windham, Kaleigh Windham, and Lindsey Windham, all of Hartsville; several grandchildren; his sisters, Elinor "Lou" (Richard) Adams of Darlington, Joann (Bucky) Dudley of Hartsville; his brother, Steve (Tracy) Windham of Camden; and a special friend, Jack McElveen.
