Phillip E. Register

Phillip E. Register,63, passed away August 30th, 2024.  A visitation will be held at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, from 4 to 5pm. Immediately following a memorial service will be held at 5pm in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel.

Phillip E. Register was born October 17th, 1960, in Florence, South Carolina to Eugene Tillman Register and Mary Lee Alford Register. He worked at Dixie Cup Corporation as a supervisor and retired after many long years. He married Cynthia Hodge Register and started a family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing at Black Creek, watching old westerns and loved to read old books as well. He loved his children with all his heart and his grandchildren dearly.

He leaves behind his wife Cynthia Hodge Register of Manning, daughters Jennifer (Patrick) Port of Timmonsville and Samantha (Caleb) Strickland of Darlington. Grandchildren Tristan Strickland and Jace Port. Sister Pam (Mike) Hall of Bennettsville. Preceding him in death is his son Phillip E. "P.J." Register.
