Phillip R. Arndt

Phillip R. Ardnt, a resident of Bethea Baptist Community died on March 19, 2017. A Memorial service will be held at Florence National Cemetery at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 23, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Mr. Arndt was born in Decatur, IL, son of the late Harrison and Cuba Ferguson Arndt. Philip served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a tech sergeant after 20 years. Mr. Arndt enjoyed bowling and was member of Hickory Rd. Baptist Church and Bethea Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Wigal Arndt and his siblings, Darrell Arndt, Gail Arndt, Theda Oye and Ray Arndt. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews.
