Vann "Pete" Patrick Dover, age 64 passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, October 24th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following at Grove Hill Cemetery. Born April 22, 1952 in Charlotte, NC; Pete is the son of Gail Cooper Johnson and the late Vann Patrick Dover, Sr. Surviving in addition to his mother, Gail Cooper Johnson, are his wife of 44 years, Denise Lundy Dover; his daughter, DeAnna Dover (Kenneth) Smith; his grandchild, Patrick Causby and his step-grandchild, Dylan Smith. He is also survived by his siblings, Lori Dover (Billy) Crittenden, Steve (Susan) Johnson, Christal (Cody) Cook, Mark (Brenda) Johnson, Sherri J. Robinson, Lisa J. (Chris) Wisner, Paul (Nelda) Johnson, and Rachel (Dale) Ormond. He was preceded in death by his father Vann Patrick Dover, Sr. and step-father, Ansel Jennings Johnson. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Sunday, October 23rd at Belk Funeral Home; and other times at 630 Arbor Dr. Florence, SC 29501.
