Peggy Ann O'Neal

Peggy Ann O'Neal, age 85, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at her son's residence in the arms of her son and daughter-in-law. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Welsh Neck Baptist Church from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm in Welsh Neck Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.

Peggy was born in Society Hill, SC on December 27, 1936. She is the daughter of the late George Carol O'Neal and Susie Moody O'Neal. Peggy worked in the Textile Industry with Galey and Lord for many years. She loved dogs, spending time with family, and loved her church family and worshiping the Lord. Peggy was a member of Welsh Neck Baptist Church and also sang in the choir.

Peggy is survived by her son, William (Deloise) Spease, grandchildren; Michael (Amy) Spease, Deana Gentry, Amber Spease, great-grandchildren: Jag Gentry, Ethan Spease, Evan Spease, Eli Spease, daughter-in-law, Denise Spease, brother, Ronnie (Shirley) O'Neal, sister, Dale Hedgepeth.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her children, Dean Spease, Gene Spease, Mitch Spease, and a brother, Randolph O'Neal
