Sean Johnson

Patrick Sean Johnson, passed away Saturday, September 5th, 2026. A visitation will be held at Belk Funeral Home from 4:00 until 5:00 Saturday, with a time for sharing memories beginning at 4:45 and ending at 5:00.

Sean was born October 12th, 1970, in Darlington, South Carolina to Rufus Johnson and Nancy Dees Powers. He specialized in cultured marble countertops and cabinetry. Sean was a die-hard Ozzy fan, loved his grandbabies and doggies. Sean liked to kick back and enjoy a glass of chocolate milk with some Oreos. He liked to spend his time piddling in the yard and tinkering with stuff in his shed.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years Renee Gainey, children: Austin Johnson, Paige (Jonathan) Johnson, Payne Johnson and brother Stacy (DeeDee) Johnson. As well as his grandchildren: Psalms Johnson, Payden Johnson, Bentley Blake, Bayleigh Blake, Audrey Johnson Dominy, Ainsley Johnson, Cameron Jackson. Aunts and Uncles, Frances (dec), Virginia “Jenny” , Clarice, Margaret(dec), Johnny Carol(dec), Mike(dec), Barbara “Bobbie”, Patricia “Patsy”, Jane and Betty, special friends, Dennis Hartley, Tom Sumner, Buddy Hill, Brandon and Jeremy. Mother-in-law Linda Ham, brother-in-law Tommy O’Neal, niece, Tori Johnson, nephews, Lee (Danielle) O’Neal, Travis O’Neal, Kayne Gainey, four great nephews, two great nieces, father-in-law, Charlie Gainey (dec), sister-in-law Luann O’Neal (dec), brother-in-law, Charlie Gainey, Jr.(dec).
