Patricia "Penny" Louise Jackson

Patricia "Penny" Jackson 63, of Darlington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation for Penny will be held at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel at noon. The interment will take place later that day at 2:00 PM at Florence National Cemetery.

Born May 4th, 1961, in Corning, Arkansas, Penny was raised by her devoted parents, Lloyd and Hazel Coble. She graduated from college with an Associate's degree in Accounting and worked as an Administrative Assistant for the County at the Department of Health and Human Services. Penny found her greatest joy in being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was united in marriage to Mitchell Jackson, the love of her life, and they celebrated 36 years together, building a family and a lifetime of cherished memories. Penny had a deep passion for life, which she shared through her love of collecting Christmas ornaments, cross-stitching, baking and selling cakes and pies, and spending time at the beach. She also adored reading romance novels, especially when it meant having a quiet moment to relax alongside her family.

Penny was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Jackson; their children, Michael Jason Jackson, Matthew Jackson (fiancée Emily Easttey), William Nicholas Jackson, and Emily Katelyn Jackson; grandchildren Weston, Selah Belle, Niah Rose, and Leyton; her brother Danny Ketchum; and her sister Keri Coble.
