Nicholas O'Neal

Nicholas Christopher O'Neal,17, passed away on August 30th, 2024, doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle.  A visitation will be held Thursday, September 5th from 3 to 4pm at Welsh Neck Baptist Church in Society Hill. The funeral service will be immediately following at 4pm, with burial afterwards in Welsh Neck Baptist Church Cemetery.

Nick was born July 9th, 2007, to Chris O'Neal and Lynn O'Neal. He was a student at Darlington High School and Carolina Shores Academy. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed many things in his life. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, skateboarder, boating, photagraphy, riding four wheelers and his motorcycle. Nick always enjoyed hanging out with all of his buddies especially Hayden Clifton, everywhere he went he always made friends.

He leaves behind his mother, Lynn O'Neal of Society Hill, father, Chris (Pam) O'Neal of Murrells Inlet, grandmother, Wanda Mae Gainey of Society Hill, his sister, Maegean (Corey) Hurley of Aynor, aunt Kim (Chris) Hayek of Society Hill, brother Jacob(Ashley) O'Neal of Jefferson, SC, sister Dara(Jessie) Skinner of Washington, grandparents Ronnie & Shirley O'Neal of Society Hill, grandmother Faye (Ron) Banta of Lexington, Kentucky, uncle Scott (Angela) O'Neal of Cheraw, uncle Jimmy (Beth) O'Neal of Cheraw, and several nieces, cousins, and extended family.   Preceding him in death is his grandfather Billy Eugene Gainey and Uncle Travis O'Neal.

A memorial service will be held in his honor in Garden City for his friends to attend at a later date.
