Mildred Chappell Miller

Darlington - Mildred "Millie" Chappell Miller, age 72 passed away Friday, February 19, 2016. Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00p.m. Monday, February 22, at Dovesville Church of God Cemetery. Born May 25, 1943, Millie is the daughter of the late Lessie Cagle and Martin Chappell. She was married to the late Bobby Miller. Mrs. Miller worked at Nytronics and then managed Burger King. She attended Dovesville Church of God, but after her son Marty's accident she devoted many hours to his care. Surviving are her sons, Jammy and her special daughter-in-law Carol Miller, and Marty Miller; her grandson, Bryan Miller and two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Sue (Steve) Farmer, Jennie (Gerald) Ray, and Brenda (Randy) Herron, all of Darlington; her brothers, Ernest Chappell and Jimmy Chappell, also of Darlington; her great friend and cousin, Winthrop Boone and special nephew, Ernest John Chappell, Jr. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pearline Chappell and her brother, John R.
