Michael B Easterling

Michael B Easterling, 31, died Monday at his residence in Columbia after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home in Darlington at 2:00pm, with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael was born in Florence County, son of Dr. James M. Easterling, Jr. and Ann Howle Easterling. He was a graduate of Mayo High School and furthered his education with an associate degree from Florence Darlington Tech. He was employed by Retail Systems in Columbia as a computer technician. In his free time Michael enjoyed playing video games and working with all types of tech. Michael loved living in Columbia and always enjoyed going to Carowinds and the Zoo.

Surviving Michael is his mother, Ann Howle Easterling of Darlington, his father, Dr. James M. (Claudette) Easterling, Jr. of Hartsville, brother, Matthew Easterling, and J. Mac (Jada) Easterling of Hartsville, and their children, Chloe and Lily Easterling, a special friend to Michael, Trina Reynolds of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by his adopted grandmother, Woody Pate.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Howle and grandparents, James M (Dell) Easterling, Sr.
