Melvin Carl Davis

DARLINGTON- Melvin Carl Davis, age 77, died January 1, 2016 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 25, 2016 at Florence National Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born on January 20, 1938, in Richwood, WV, he was the son of the late William Melvin Davis and the late Beatrice Madeline Fisher Davis. Carl served his country in the United States Navy Reserves and worked in the plumbing industry. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Tremper Davis and his daughter, Tammy Stowe both of Darlington. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Davis.
