Marion H. Wallace

Marion H. Wallace, age 86, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3rd in the mausoleum chapel at Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Belk Funeral Home.

Born April 30, 1934, Marion was the son of the late Henry H. Wallace and Ruby Jordan Wallace. Wallace served in the Army National Guard, and then retired from Rock-Tenn Paper Company. He was a member of West Florence Baptist Church where he was active in many church activities including being a member of Eugene Boyce Sunday school class. Shirley and Marion were inseparable, always claiming each other as the love of their lives. They enjoyed traveling and dancing together at the Square Dance Club. Marion will be remembered as being loving and supportive of his family and friends.

Surviving are his loving wife, Shirley H. Wallace; his son, Kenneth W. Wallace of Socastee; brothers, Gerald (Lorraine) Wallace and Arthur "Art" (Marilyn) Wallace. Also surviving are her special friends, Joanne Anderson, Marie Watson, Faye Small, Jean and Bill Fryar; and many nieces and nephews.
