Mack E. Dease

Mack E. Dease, age 84, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his residence. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Jane and Sammy Nance, 204 Belvin Street, Darlington. Born in Darlington County, he was the son of the late Furman and Annie Mae Boatwright Dease. Mack served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed auto racing. Mack was known for his willingness to try and tackle any job presented to him. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Josh) Phillips, his sons, Rodney (Rhonda) Dease and Johnny Mack (Angie) Dease of Darlington, several grandchildren, and his sisters; Annie Jane (Sammy) Nance of Darlington, Edna Dease (Homer) Goodwin and Shirley Dease Sanford all of Ashville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, J.W., Robert and Furman Dease, Jr. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
