Luther Lee Turner

Luther Lee Turner, 65, of Dillon, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Born on April 13, 1959, to James Turner and Louise Hunt Turner, Luther lived a life characterized by honesty, hard work, and a deep love for the outdoors.

Luther enjoyed a rewarding career in construction, taking great pride in his work and always speaking his mind. His straightforward nature and dedication to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of those who worked alongside him.

Outside of his career, Luther was most at peace when he was outdoors, taking in the fresh air and enjoying the beauty of nature. He found joy in life's simplest pleasures and will be remembered for his love of the outdoors.

Luther is survived by his mother, Louise Turner; sisters, Eula Davis and Dondi Powers; brother, James Turner; son, Jamie Turner; and niece, Teresa McKinney. He was preceded in death by his father, James Turner; sisters, Laura Mae Caulder and Betty Lou Parker; and brothers, Robert Turner, W.L. Turner, and Will Turner.
