Lou Ann (Taylor) Watford

Lou Ann Taylor Watford, age 66 died Monday, November 15, 2021. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18th at Mechanicsville Baptist Church with burial following at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Belk Funeral Home, and other times at 1205 Cashua Ferry Rd. Darlington. Born on February 28, 1955, Lou Ann was the daughter of the late Leroy J. Taylor and Mary Lou Thompson Taylor. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Roscoe (Jody Amerson) Watford, III, and Gabby (Charles) Quick; step-children, Dane (Tonya) Watford, Jacinda (Ike) Vause, Noelle Merino; grandchildren, Little Roscoe, Tristin, Lia, Allen, J.J., and many step-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Anderson and Cathy (J.R.) Mitchum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Watford, Jr.; sisters, Louise Sandifer and Donna Gregory. Memorials may be made to Mechanicsville Baptist Church, 2364 Cashua Ferry Rd.
