Lori Johnson Holloway, age 51, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, June 15th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 2-3 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Born December 3, 1965, Lori is the daughter of Barbara Turner Johnson, and the late Charles Johnson. She was a graduate of Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, NC, and then moved to Darlington in 1986, and worked as an office manager. Surviving in addition to her mother, Barbara Johnson of Gastonia, are her daughter, Megan Holloway of Darlington; her sisters, Barbara (Boyd) Passmore of Gastonia, and Brenda (Ron) Setzer of Hickory, NC; her brothers, Joe (Ann) Johnson of Lowell, NC, and Charles Johnson of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitch Holloway; and her sisters, Wanda Johnson Ormand, and Evelyn Johnson.
