Linda R. Flowers

Linda Rose Warren Flowers, age 79, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2024 in Florence, SC.

Miss Linda, as she was affectionately known by many, was born on March 28, 1945, in Darlington, SC to the late Samuel Beckham Warren and Mary Jane Dees Warren. She was a life-long resident of Darlington, a homemaker, a special needs teacher, cherished manager of Patricia's Gift Shop, and the best GiGi a grandchild could have. Miss Linda loved everyone and never met a stranger. Her enthusiasm for holidays, especially Christmas, created many treasured traditions and memories for her family. Making other people happy was her greatest joy. She was a shining light to all who knew her.

Linda leaves behind her devoted husband of 60 years, Richard Cole Flowers; two sons, Richard C. Flowers, Jr. (Marilynn) and Mark A. Flowers (Cristy); two grandsons, Ross C. Flowers and Bradley Williams (Amanda) ; one great-grandson, Roger Harrell; a brother, Raymond Warren (Sara); a sister-in-law, Betty Warren, a brother-in-law, David Broach; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Simonis (Nick), and Martha Broach, two brothers, Allen Warren and Julian Warren; brother-in-law, Nick Simonis, and daughter-in-law, Marilynn Jean Williams

Friends and Family are invited to help the family celebrate Miss Linda's life with a visitation at Belk Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.
