Linda Joan (Mayers) Shelley

Linda Joan Mayers Shelley, 75, of Florence, SC went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2022. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October15th at 11:00am to 12 pm in the Lamar Chapel of Belk Funeral Home. Her memorial service will follow after starting at noon.

Linda was born in Mullins,SC on July 10th, 1947. She is the daughter of John and Kathryn Hammonds Mayers. She retired in 2016 after 23 years from Lowes on David McLeod Blvd. She was an avid piano player, loved working in her yards. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda prided herself being a loving "nourisher" to her family.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Johnny Harmon Shelley, Sr. after 58 years of marriage. A daughter Tes(Chris) Amerson of Lamar and son Stacy Shelley of Florence, SC. Her five grandchildren Tristan(William) Freeman, Nicole Amerson, Cody Amerson, Jonathan and Jocelyn Shelley, along with a great-grandchild Grayson.

She is preceded in death by her son Johnny Shelley, Jr., her sister Diane Blaszak and brother John C. Mayers, Jr.
