Linda Weatherford Gregory

Linda Weatherford Gregory, age 73 died Friday, October 22, 2021. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 25th at First Church of God in Darlington with burial following at Darlington Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Belk Funeral Home, and at the home of Missy and Vernon McKnight, 2113 Cashua Ferry Rd. Darlington, SC 29532.

Born on June 30, 1948, Linda was the daughter of the late Howard L. Weatherford and Virginia Grady Weatherford. She was employed with Pee Dee Coop, and retired after 40 years. Linda was an avid beach lover and a member of First Church of God in Darlington.

Surviving are her two daughters, Missy (Vernon) McKnight and Lindsey (Chris) Byrd, all of Darlington; grandchildren, Dawson and Abby McKnight, Avery and Kyndall Byrd; siblings, Larry (Marilyn) Weatherford of Thomson, GA, Charles Weatherford of Darlington, Debbie (Marshall) Gandy of Darlington; four nieces; her special friends, the "Dixie Darlings"; and her canine companion, Roxie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie N. Gregory.
