Linda (Mack) Denham

Linda Mack Denham, age 79, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 Saturday at the funeral home and other times at her sister's home, 441 N. Main Street.

Born in Norfolk, VA on December 27, 1945, she w as the daughter of the late James "Jimmy" and Christine McDonald Mack. Linda worked as a tax consultant for H & R Block for many years. Mrs. Denham had a loving spirit about her, and was like a mother to many. Her children recall her always being a "team mom" when they were younger and played sports. She enjoyed going to the beach, going out to eat, playing cards and watching Law and Order and True Crime. As an avid sports fan, she enjoyed all USC Gamecock sports.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Denham, her son, Reggie (Amy) Denham, two step-grandchildren and a step great-grandson, sister, Sissy (Rev. Kendall) Williams and many nieces and nephews whom she adored, and a dear friend Wendy Lynch also her sister-in-law Barbara Denham and brother-in-law, Freddie (Jan) Denham.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Denham and a brother-in-law, Mickey Denham.
