Linda (Whitlow) Barnio

Linda Whitlow Barnio, age 74, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021. A graveside service will be held at Grove Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, November 2, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 am Tuesday at Belk Funeral Home.

Linda was born on March 30, 1947 in South Boston, VA. She was the daughter of Pearl Campbell Whitlow and the late Felton Whitlow. Linda managed the family business and was the "voice on the phone" when you called her family's company, L.W. Barnio Tree Removal Company.  Since she worked from home, she was able to enjoy feeding and watching the birds at her house.

In addition to her mother of Lexington, she is survived by her husband, Charles Barnio, her children: Dustin (Bre) Barnio, Brianna (Shane) Whitmore, Lindsey Barnio, all of Darlington, Kristie (Richard) Long of Elgin and Walter (Dawn) Cook of Lexington, grandchildren: Taylor, Ashley, Elijah, Brielle and Carson; brothers, Jack (Vicky) Whitlow, Danny (Carolyn) Whitlow and Ricky (Shelley) Whitlow.
