Lillie Mae (Johnson) Erickson

Lillie Mae Erickson, age 76 died at home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 27th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Born in Darlington on October 28, 1945, Lillie was the daughter of the late Holly and Nancy Dixon Johnson. She worked as a cook for many years at Oakhaven Nursing Home and then Thunderbird Restaurant, until her health declined 27 years ago. She was known to be a hard worker to provide for her family. Lillie enjoyed her Diet Pepsi, snuff, and talking smack.

Surviving are her children, Joey (Christine) Barber, Charles Wallace, and Nancy (Danny) Couch; her grandchildren Joey (Kadee) Barber, Jonathon Barber, Angel (Jason) Beasley) Timmy Beasley, Ryan Tadlock, Heather (Dave) Proctor, Sabrina (Shandhi) Wallace, Charlene Wallace, Amanda Couch, and Rick Couch, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Erickson; son, Kenny McGee; daughter, Melissa Caron; an infant son; siblings, Berlin "Bubba" Johnson, Blanche Johnson, Beverly "Red" Dudley, Helen Small, and Junior Johnson.
