Larry L Scalf

Larry Lindon Scalf, age 68, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 23rd in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home with burial following at Swift Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Born July 10, 1951 in Beckley, West Virginia, Larry is the son of the late Worley Lindon Scalf and Arlen Mae Martin Scalf Yarborough. He worked as a car salesman for local dealerships. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding them until the day he died, and he enjoyed spending time at the lake. Larry attended Flat Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Arlen Mae Martin Scalf Yarborough, he is survived by his wife, Darlene Truett Scalf; children, Larry L. Scalf of Michigan, Nichole (Ronnie) Hughey, Alana Newman, Corey Scalf, all of Hartsville, Kristen Larson of Timmonsville, Marti Lynn (Cory) Green of El Paso, TX, Niki (Michael) Pfleger of Darlington, Perry (Amanda) Munn of Bishopville; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Flowers of Darlington.
