Larry Dean Barnhill

Larry Dean Barnhill, age 66 died Tuesday, November 2, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 7th at Lighthouse Church, 1413 E. McIver Rd. in Florence. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Belk Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time.

Born on August 19, 1955, Larry was the son of the late D.C. Barnhill and Betty Anderson Barnhill. Larry was a farmer, and later worked in the road construction business. He enjoyed watching westerns and watching NASCAR races on Sunday's. Larry will be remembered as a family man who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Lighthouse Church in Florence.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Patricia Lambert Barnhill; daughter, Yolanda Dawn Barnhill and her fiancé Frank Jones, all of Darlington; brother, Danny (Lora Ann) Barnhill of Nichols; sisters, Faye Barnhill of Marion, and Amy Stroud of Aynor; sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Dwight) Williamson and Judith Lambert; brothers-in-law, Perry Lambert and Randy (Ven) Lambert; his father-in-law, Rev. Randall J. (Pearl) Lambert; and special nieces and nephews Chris (Beverly) Lambert, Dean (Angie) Lambert, Nicole (Steve) Gibson, Scott (Julie) Williamson, Marty Williamson, Amber (Chris) Vick, Brooke (Wesley) Young, and Logan Barnhill. Special great nieces and nephews Camden Vick, Cason Vick, Ansleigh Vick, Khloe Young, Karoline Young, Corey Williamson, Hannah Gibson, Daniel Gibson, Logan Lambert, Wade Lambert, Leah Lambert, Addison Lambert, Justin Hedges, and Rheagan Williamson.

He was preceded in death by a beloved nephew, Bryan Barnhill; and nephew, Kenny Williamson.

In honor of Larry's love for people, memorials may be made to a charity or organization that helps people in need.
