Larraine Schneider Peters

Larraine Emma Schneider Peters passed away Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. A memorial service will take place for her on Friday, September 11th, 206 at 10:00 am in the Bethea Baptist Church of Darlington.

Larraine was born April 5th, 1944 in San Antonio Texas to Helmuth Schneider and Elma Bartling Schneider. She was a career bookkeeper, but her most important job was being a mother. She loved her family immensely, spending time with them, and having a good talk. In her free time, she was an avid James Patterson reader and loved a good murder mystery.

She leaves behind her daughter Laura(Mike) Hobbs of Darlington, son Darren (Cynthia) Schluter of Cypress, Texas. and her sister Judy Edgar. Her grandchildren: Robert Baxley, Ashley Schluter and Katie Schluter. Her step grandchildren: Kathryn Tolson and Marcie Player. As well as her step greatgrandchildren Emma Player and Macy Tolson.

Preceding her in death her beloved husband August Peters, her parents, and sister Faye Vines.
