Lannie Davis

Lannie Dale Davis, age 64, of Darlington, SC, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home.

Lannie was born in Darlington to the late Perry Davis, Jr. and Agnes Lee Grice Davis. He graduated from St. John's High School, and in his younger years, Lannie was an avid motocross racer. He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending much of his time hunting and fishing. A passionate cook, Lannie especially enjoyed grilling steaks and cherished the moments spent with family and friends during cookouts. He was the best Pappy his grandkids could have asked for. He was the loudest at Lincoln's games and passed his love for reading to his granddaughter, Amore. Above all, Lannie was a devoted family man, always putting the needs of his loved ones first.

Lannie is survived by his children: Jerrica Davis (Chris), Jeremie Davis, and Jordyn Davis (Kurry), all of Darlington, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Amore and Lincoln Davis. He is also survived by his siblings: Tex Davis, Linda Davis, Malcolm (Rachel) Davis, Teresa Davis, Phyllis Brown, Frances (Chuck) Kelly, Melinda Willis, Mavis Connor, Nada Lindstrom, Marty Davis, and April (Jamie) Benehaley, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Lannie's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
