Kenneth G. Essner

Kenneth G. Essner passed away on June, 7th, 2025.  On Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 a graveside service will be held at 11:00am at the Lamar Memorial Cemetery.

Kenny was born on February 7th, 1952 in Cape Giradeau, Missouri to Anthony Essner and Lee Anna Felter Essner.

He was a carpenter by trade and a die hard Earnhart fan.

Kenny leaves behind his loving wife Susan Raynor of Florence, daughters Heather (Ken) Gramm of St. Louis and Amy (Greg) Nicholas also of St. Louis.  Son Jeff Essner, special grandson Jackson Raynor, stepsons: Chris Raynor, Adam Raynor, and Jerry Raynor.  Grandchildren: Hanna, Evan, Gabby, Claire, Maura, Addison, and Vince.  His step-grandchildren Tyler (Mary) and Leah.  Great grandchild Callahan, along with mother in law Rose Watford, special brother in law Danny Watford, his brother Jim Essner, and his five sisters: Marilyn, Ann, Judy, Deniece, and Mary.

Preceding him in death is his brother Steve Essner.
