Katie Dennis-Lesesne

Katie Gracelyn Dennis-Lesesne passed away Sunday, August 30th, 2026. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 on Tuesday, September 8 at Belk Funeral Home with a service following at 4:00 in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will take place immediately after the service in Odom Cemetery.

Katie was born on April 4th, 2001 in Florence to Mary “Nikki” Vause Dennis and Larry Sheldon Dennis. She loved her life as a homemaker to her children Kinsley and Weston. Katie enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. She was taken too soon and will live on in the hearts of those that knew her.

Katie leaves behind her children Kinsley Lesesne and Weston Brown. Her parents Nikki and Larry Dennis. Siblings: Marion (Rhonda) Dennis, Crystal Dennis, Nikki (Ryan) Hanna, John (Cheyanne)Dennis, Austin Dennis, Hannah (William) Pierce, and Matt Filyaw. Her bonus sister Gabby Bradford, as well as many aunts, uncles, and her nieces and nephews. Loved by her many cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death is her sister Christina Dennis. Maternal grandparents Neil Vause and Mary Wise. Paternal grandparents Doris Ann Dennis and Roger Dennis.

She had a heart like no other. If she knew you, then you were family, and she treated you as family.
