Kathryn (Iseman) Jeffords

Kathryn "Kat" Iseman Jeffords, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at her residence. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22nd from the times of 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Belk Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 2:00pm in Freedom Baptist Church on Sunday, June 23rd, with burial following in Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery in Lydia.

Kat was born in Darlington on July 24, 1940, she is the daughter of the late Sammy Iseman and Louise Adams Iseman. Kat was a loving soul who never met a stranger, she always greeted you with a smile. She was a stay at home mom who loved to care for her family, she always stayed busy around the house rather it was tending to her plants, sewing, or caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and attended the Win Some Sunday School Class.

Kat is survived by her husband, Howell "Jeff" Jeffords, children, Michael (Leslie) Jeffords, Melinda Sikes, grandson, Benjamin Sikes, two great grandchildren, Nova Sikes and Zoie Priest. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Gail (Roy) Carter, Angie (Darwin) Seago, Tony (Jeanine) Jeffords, Barbara (Tim) Kirkley, and Mark (Michelle) Menasco.

In addition to her parents, Kat is preceded in death by her brother Tommy Iseman.
