Julia Moody

Julia Ruth Sheffield Moody, age 88, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017. A graveside service will be held in Mechanicsville Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Born in Darlington on October 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Street and Vera Sheffield. She enjoyed square dancing and often traveled to various locations to dance. She is survived by her children: Agnes Thomson, Terry Leroy Moody, Tommy Eugene Moody, Phillip Wayne Moody, Michael James Moody, her sister, Louann and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Moody.
