Johnny E. Watford

John "Johnny" E. Watford, age 73 died Tuesday, January 25, 2022. A graveside service will be held 3:00 Sunday, February 13, 2022 in Lamar Cemetery.

Born on December 16, 1948, Johnny was the son of the late Laran Watford and Vivian Harrell Watford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Johnny worked in farming, and later retired from Sonoco Products Company.

Surviving are his daughter, Chrystal (Christopher) Brown; grandson, Chase Brown; sister, Marie (Bobby) Hopkins; four brothers, Heyward (Janie) Watford, Earl (Theresa) Watford, Joe (Melissa) Watford, and Hoss Watford.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Marks Watford; brothers, Richard Watford and Willie Watford.
