Jessie Hudson

Jessie Belle Hudson, 80, passed away on September 16, 2026.

Born on January 3rd, 1946, in Timmonsville, Jessie was the daughter of the late Wilbur Summerford and Helen Haire. She lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and an unwavering spirit.

As a devoted homemaker, Jessie found great joy in caring for her family and creating a loving home. She was always active and enjoyed bird watching, spending quality time with her loved ones, and watching Christian television programs.

A faithful member of Dillon Church of God, Jessie cherished her faith and her church community. Her gentle presence, generous heart, and genuine kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, her strong faith, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (Lorin) Britt and Susie Lane, sons; Carl Lane and Charles Lane, step-daughter; Becky Hudson, step-son; David (Sonya) Hudson, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; Wilbur Summerford and Helen Haire, and husband, James Hudson.
