Jessie "Jeb" Edward Moody

Jesse Edward Blackwell, also known as "Jeb", born February 17, 1992, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was a hunter, a fisher, and most recently a master pipe welder. Jeb always lit up the room with his bright smile, and gave the best hugs. He was a brother, an uncle, a cousin, and a friend to many.

Jeb is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Moody; his aunt, Jessica "Ca-Ca" Blackwell; his grandfather, Robert "Pops" Blackwell; and his great-aunt, Brenda "Bren Bren" Norwood.

He leaves behind his sister, Margaret-Ellen Moody; his niece, Annagail Moody; his brother, Caleb Moody; his grandmother, Margaret Anne West; uncle, Walker Gainey; and his cousin, Katie Blackwell.

His ingenuity, kind heart, and selflessness need to be everyone's handyman will be forever missed.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 4th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington. The family will receive friends one our prior to the service.
