Jesse Zimmerman Galloway, III

Jesse Zimmerman Galloway, III, AKA: “Bubba” ,“Zim” age 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Grove Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.

Jesse was born on June 22, 1948, to the late Jesse Zimmerman Galloway and Lessie Lee Galloway. Jesse was raised in Mechanicsville Baptist Church, loved fishing, being on the Pee Dee River, and spending time with friends at the Darlington Moose Lodge and the Florence Elks Lodge. Zim worked for NUCOR in cold finish for many years, He also served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his daughter; Charity Adams (Will), son; Scott Willis (Monica), sister; Marsha Bonnoitt (John), grandchildren; Drake Adams, Jacob Adams, Kayti Adams, Bryson Willis, Shawn Thompson, and nephews, great nephews, and a great niece..

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Zimmerman Galloway II, and Lessie Lee Galloway, and daughter, Tracy Lee Willis.
