Jerry Watford, age 76 passed away in his home Friday, August 05, 2016. Funeral services will be held 4:00pm Sunday, August 7th in the Lamar chapel at Belk Funeral Home with burial following in Lamar Cemetery. Born September 9, 1939; Mr. Watford is the son of the late Luther Watford and Macie Amerson Watford. He owned and operated Watford's Garage. Jerry loved listening to gospel music, and working on antique cars. He was a member of Call To Life Family Worship Center. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Watford; his daughter, Sonia Blackmon; his granddaughter, Nacole Elizabeth Blackmon, all of Lamar; his sisters, Margie Truett and Carolyn (Bobby) Gibbs of Lamar; his brother, Richard (Mary) Watford of Bishopville; and three special friends, Jerry Brumley, Andrew Criswell, and Allen Brazington. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday, August 6th at Belk Funeral Home in Lamar.
