Jerry O'Neal

Jerry Eugene O'Neal, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026. A memorial service will be held for him Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at 11:00am in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors after the service.

Born on November 23, 1952, in Darlington, SC to Willard Davis and Eula Mae Rogers. Jerry lived a full life and brought joy to many as a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Jerry was a master welder, proudly working for GE, where he was known for his skill and dedication. He earned an associate's degree, which laid the foundation for his successful career. More importantly, Jerry was a family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He was an avid race fan and loved riding his Harley. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Theresa Gayle O'Neal, his daughters, Amy O'Neal, Elizabeth (Brandon) Cox, Megan (John Shelton) Weaver, and. He also is survived by his brother, Donald O'Neal, sister, Angie Suggs, sister-in-law Tammy (Jack) Hatchell, grandchildren: Matt Thomas, Hunter Thomas, McKaelynn Stevenson, and Braxton Pfleger Jonathan Fernanadez and Joanna Grace Shelton.

Jerry was preceded in death by: his parents and brother Roger O’Neal. Rest in peace, Jerry. You will be missed more than words can express.
