Alma Jean McCaskill Larymore went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 5, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 Thursday, January 8th in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the funeral home. Mrs. Larymore will be laid to rest beside her son, Kenny Larymore in Indian Branch Cemetery following the service.
Born in Darlington on September 7, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Clayton McCaskil and Annie Davis Joye.
She was the sweetest soul with the biggest heart, always putting others before herself. She leaves a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.
Jean leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Ray Larymore, daughter, Teresa (Jesse) Braddock, grandchildren: Deavon Larymore, Kensley Braddock and Luke Braddock. She is also survived by her brother, James (Janet) McCaskill.
She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, her step-father, Jack Joye, her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Tommy Harrison, her son Kenny and grandson, Dylan Larymore.
