Janice Elaine (Bacot) Maloch

Janice Elaine Bacot Maloch, age 70, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 11, 2021. A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 18th at Darlington Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Monday at Belk Funeral Home.

Born on July 3, 1950, Janice was the daughter of the late John Dyson "J.D." Bacot and Betty Lou Doriety Bacot. After graduating from Southside High School in 1969, she worked for Pee Dee Family Physicians as a collections manager. She was a member of the Florence Shag Club, and enjoyed shopping. She loved to travel, especially to the beach. Janice was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Chesterfield.

Surviving are her children, Teresa Ray of Switzerland, Melissa Maloch Tiller of Darlington, Brad Maloch (fiancée Brandi Sproul) of Murrells Inlet, Tania Springs and Vicki Parker, both of Florence; grandchildren, Scottie, Whitney, Hunter, Victoria, Brently, Easton Mac, Declan, Knox, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. "Mack" Maloch; and then her fiancé, Andy Lisbon; brother, Johnny Bacot; and grandson, John Allen Parker.
