James Charles Ross

James Charles Ross, age 71, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. A funeral service will be held the following day at 11:30am in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with burial following the service at Florence National Cemetery.

James was born in Darlington, SC on June 4, 1951. He is the son of the late Charlie Ross, Jr. and Annie Boston Ross. He worked at Fiber Industries and then later worked as a security guard. James was a wonderful father and never met a stranger. Mr. Ross served the United States of America in the Air Force. He was a member of Florence Baptist Temple.

James is survived by his wife, Insuk Kim Ross, children; Debbie Milligan of Florence, Pastor Lamar (Joanna) Salley of Costa Rica, and the apple of his eye Elizabeth Ross (Paul) Ogburn of Columbia, grandchildren: Keegan Salley, Jadon Milligan, Kevin (Stephanie) Salley, Matthew (Kayla) Salley, Alexa Salley, great-grandchild, Aniah Salley, sisters, Margaret Ross (Charles) Rogers of Darlington, Almeta Ross (Stan) Lewis of High Point, NC, nephew and niece, Charles Rogers, Jr. of Delaware, Adrienne Rogers and her children, Makayala, Aaron, and Jadyn.
