Jacquelyn Annette Griffin Way, of Pawleys Island, SC, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her residence. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 24th at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Jacquelyn Annette Griffin Way was born in Florence, SC, and was the daughter of the late Mary Till Griffin and Roland C. Griffin. She graduated from McClenaghan High School and attended Winthrop College. She was a retired US Postal employee after 30 years of service. She was a member of Pineville Park Baptist Church in Pineville, LA, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. Jacquelyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eddie Way of Pawleys Island, SC; two sons, Austin Way of Pawleys Island, SC, and Stephen Way (Gwen); one granddaughter, Caitlyn Way; and one grandson, Oliver Way, all of Garland, TX.
