Iris Bryant

Iris Loralie Stephens Joye Bryant of Lamar,82 departed this world for the Heavenly Gates Thursday, November 10, 2022 surrounded by her family, friends and her beloved Zoe. Iris was a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and a friend that will be missed by everyone who knew her. Iris attended school in Hartsville. She was a licensed beautician who was partnered with her best friend Ann Ham. She was a member of Lamar United Methodist Church.  During her later years she and Donnie ran Rick's Pawn Shop.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Donnie Bryant, children: Sallie (Mike) Barnes, Patsy (Mike) Boyles, Jimmy (Tia) Bryant, Lesia(John) McKenzie. Along with her grandchildren Heather McLeod, Tyler Hodge, Jessica(Justin) Scott, and Loralie Bryant.  Also her great grandchildren AJ Self, Hannah and Sarah McLeod. With one precious great-great grandchild Veronica Warr. Her best friend Cindy(Jackie)Jeffords who she loved more than words can say.

A special thank you to McLeod hospital along with McLeod Hospice. Also a special mention to Cecelia Bozeman for the care she gave to the Bryant home.

A celebration of her life will be Sunday, November 13th , 4pm at Lamar United Methodist Church with visitation following in the fellowship hall.
