Hunter Gainey

Timothy Hunter Gainey, age 27 died Sunday, June 12, 2022. A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3-4 Saturday at the funeral home.

Born on August 8, 1994, Hunter is the son of Timmy and Tina Blackwell Gainey. He worked as an operator for Polyquest. Hunter enjoyed fishing and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Clemson Tigers fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Kassie (Reed) Caulder and Ashley (Hunter) Parker, all of Darlington; nephew, Max Parker; and grandmother, Maxine Gainey of Darlington; bonus grandfather, Mel Middleton of Florence. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Albert Crowley.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Purvis L. Blackwell, Valerie Blackwell Middleton, and Tollie Gainey.
