Hubert Rendell Mccutchen

Hubert Rendell McCutchen, age 88 died Tuesday, April 26, 2022. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 9th at Swift Creek Baptist Church with burial following at Darlington Memory Gardens, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church

Born in Scranton, SC on December 11, 1933, Hubert was the son of the late Lonnie McCutchen and Ileta Matthews McCutchen. He retired from the US Coast Guard. After receiving his degree in heating and cooling from Florence-Darlington Technical College, he worked at The Saleeby Center in Hartsville as Maintenance Manager. Hubert was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Frances "Fran" F. McCutchen; two daughters, Debbie Mitterholzer and Wendy Gallagher; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by all of his siblings.
