Howard "Bucky" Bazen, Jr.

Howard "Bucky" Vernon Bazen, Jr.  was born on October 16th, 1958. He passed away peacefully at home in Darlington on September 19th, 2022.

"Bucky" was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many.  He was an avid Gamecock fan and in rivalry with his late brother Michael Bazen the Clemson fan.  "Bucky" was always willing to lend a hand in his family's restaurant businesses, that were opened in the 1940's by his father. He also worked as an electrician with Ralley's Electric for many years.   He enjoyed relaxing, taking naps, watching football games on tv, and spending time reading.

Surviving "Bucky" are his sisters, Belinda(Nelson)Lee, Judy(Billy) Moore and Lisa(Buddy) Ralley; brother Johnny Bazen; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his late parents Howard Vernon Bazen and Bernice Smith Bazen, he is preceded in death by his sister Carlene Bryant and brother Michael Bazen and a nephew Eddie Bryant.

The family thanks everyone for their support during this time. A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
