Herbert Russell Knotts

Herbert Russell Knotts, age 66, passed away on May 31, 2024. Graveside services will take place Sunday, June 9th at 2 pm at Cypress Fork Freewill Baptist Church in Manning, SC.

Russell was born in Darlington County on September 13, 1957, he is the son of the late Major Knotts, Jr. and Louise Watford Knotts. Russell worked as a mechanic for the majority of his life and did some construction over the years. He always enjoyed working on things in his free time and being outdoors fishing. Mr. Knotts loved kids; he always got a kick out of picking with them. He was of the Baptist faith and would attend Cypress Fork Free Will Baptist Church when he was able.

Surviving Russell are his sisters, Deborah (Don) Jones of Patrick, Annie Moore of Manning, his brother, Donald Knotts of Manning, special nieces, Tammy (Jamie) White, and Tracy Watford, and his best friends, Charlie and Sharon Inabinet of Orangeburg and Ed Bishop, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his siblings, Minnie Katherine "Kathy" Lloyd, Major Bunyan Knotts, G.B. Knotts, and Jerome Murray Knotts.
