Helen Papadopoulas Psillos

Helen Psillos, 92 of Darlington, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2025. Helen Papadopoulas was born in Port Said, Egypt on June 26, 1932 . At age 18 she moved to Athens, Greece. She married Christopher Psillos in 1955 in Athens, Greece, and moved to Darlington.

Helen is survived by four children: Constantina(Greg) Padgett, Christopher Psillos, Jr., Gregory(Barbara) Psillos, and Theresa(Luke) Perdue. Helen was also the proud Yiayia of 10 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Taylor, Nicole, Ryan, Anna, Trey, Stephan, Alex, William and Victoria. She also had nine great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox church at 11:00 AM in Florence, SC at 2990 S. Cashua Street. A private family graveside service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, Florence, South Carolina or a charity of your choice in honor of Helen Psillos.
