Helen J Buck

Helen Jones Buck, age 70, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. A graveside service will be held 10:00am Thursday, November 17th in Florence National Cemetery directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born October 2, 1946; Mrs. Buck was the daughter of the late Richard M. and Gertie Rogers Jones. She worked in industrial chemical sales and was a member of First Original Free Will Baptist Bible Church in Darlington. She is survived by her husband, Ernest "Benny" Buck of Darlington; her daughter, Yolanda (Curt) Austin of Easley; her son, Ernie (Rita) Buck of Darlington; her grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Austin, Summer Austin, Taylor B. Buck, Ernest B. "Trae" Buck, III, Andrew Tannor Buck, and four great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her brother, Richard Buck (Carol) Jones of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her grandson, PFC Barrett Lyle Austin, KIA OEF in 2013; her brothers, Richard "Buddy Jones, and Woodrow Wilson Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, November 16th at Belk Funeral Home and other times at the home of Benny Buck; 549 Gilchrist Rd. Darlington, SC 29532. Memorials may be made to First Original Free Will Baptist Bible Church, 316 Orange St. Darlington, SC 29532; or to Oakhaven Nursing Center, 123 Oak St, Darlington, SC 29532.
