Guy E. Bryant

Lamar - Guy E. Bryant, age 86, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. A graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 28th in Lamar Memorial Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born in Darlington County, Guy is the son of the late Joshua J. Bryant and the late Shelby Jean Johnson Bryant. He served in the U.S. Army as a parachuter. He worked as a building contractor, a farmer, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was married to the late Ercel Teal Bryant, who passed away in 2017. Surviving are his son, Jerry E. Bryant; his granddaughter, Haley Bryant Fleisch; his great-grandchildren, Riley and Halo Fleisch; his brother, Jimmy C. Bryant of Hartsville; his sisters, Peggy Bryant Andrews of Florence and Shelby Jean Rivers of Hartsville; and many nieces and nephews.
